Epstein on the Patent Reform Act of 2007

Richard Epstein recently published a column on FT.com's New Technology Policy Forum about the Patent Reform Act of 2007. He argues that changes to the injunction rule and damage rule in the PRA are "a one-two combination that would dampen patent innovation." Read the column for yourself here.

If anything can be done with the patent laws to make patent lawyers less anal retentive, it should be seriously considered.

If any reforms of the patent law, such as these, could work toward making patent lawyers less anal retentive, they should be seeriously considered.
