Clinical Professor Randolph N. Stone, Director of the Criminal Juvenile Justice Project, received the Distinguished Public Service Award from the Public Interest Law Initiative at its Annual Awards Luncheon on December 7, 2006.The award, presented by former Appellate Court Justice and distinguished civil rights lawyer R. Eugene Pincham, recognized Professor Stone's accomplishments at the Clinic and in previous work as head of the Cook County Public Defender Office and Deputy Director of the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia.
