If there's one thing that a community as intellectually and politically diverse as UChicagoLaw can agree on, it's probably a deep and abiding love of books. So the Law School is proud to announce the launch of its official presence on Goodreads, the social network for people who love to read. Become our friend on Goodreads, and you can stay up to date with our faculty's new publications, get recommendations from the faculty, or catch up on some Law School classics. You can even become a "fan" of your favorite faculty members. As time goes on, we hope to use the site to organize discussions with UChicago authors, alumni book clubs, and more.

School May Be Out, But the Student Events Podcast Keeps Rolling

Normally we suspend our Open Minds: Student Events at the University of Chicago Law School podcast over the summer, since having no students around tends to mean, unsurprisingly, no student events. However, we had such a bumper crop of great student events this year that we couldn't pack them all into one academic year's worth of podcasts. As a result, we'll be continuing the podcast through the summer months (or at least until we run out of material). Check out the podcast, and load up your .mp3 player for that big summer roadtrip -- we all know you can only listen to so many Lady Gaga tunes before you need something a little more intellectually stimulating.
