Today the Supreme Court handed down a decision in United States v. Jones which held that attaching a GPS device to a vehicle and then using the device to monitor the vehicle’s movements constitutes a search under the Fourth Amendment. The finding in United States v Jones seems to represent an attempt of the law to catch up to the rapidly evolving technology bwing used by law enforcement agencies. Thanks for the video.
